Free Flu Vaccines Eligibility and Stock

You are eligible for a free flu shot provided you are a Medicare Card holder and meet the following criteria:

People aged 65 and over
Pregnant women at any stage of pregnancy
Children aged 6 months to under 5 years
Aboriginal ethnicity of 6 months of age and over
People aged 6 months or over who have medical conditions who have a higher risk of disease (cardiac disease, chronic respiratory conditions, chronic neurological conditions, immunocompromising conditions, diabetes and other metabolic disorders, renal disease, haematological disorders, children aged 6 months to under 10 years on long term aspirin therapy)

If you do not meet the criteria for a free flu shot, private vaccines are currently IN STOCK at our clinic at $20 each, and are also available at pharmacies nearby for which our GPs can provide a script to obtain one. This can then be administered by our nurses to you.

You may take the flu vaccine on the same day as COVID-19 Vaccine. However, we recommend a 7 days gap before or after having the COVID-19 Vaccine.

If you are feeling unwell, have a fever or flu like symptoms, please reschedule your appointment.

Our stocks are given on a first come, first served basis based on the influx of patients booking in. If you miss out, please check this page to be alerted when stock has returned. Thank you.
